About me

From Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born and Raised.

Born and raised as an Asian American in Ann Arbor, Michigan; my perspective to filmmaking has been influenced by an array of both my Asian heritage and my Midwestern upbringing. My passion for films has always stayed constant, but my filmmaking jumped off at film club at my high school. I would go on to direct my first Star Wars fan film, Kindred, with a few of my fellow classmates.

In my 6 years at the University of Michigan on and off, I’ve worked on countless student films and helped revitalize the WOLV-TV film club (Film, Television and Media department-sponsored), directing and producing for two shows. I’ve worked from every aspect of pre- to post-production, from screenwriting and producing to audio mixing and mastering and extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). On set, I have experience with camera operation, sound recording, lighting/gaffing, directing and producing, and many more. With my connections at WOLV-TV I was able to participate in workshops and helped film interviews with industry legends like Mark Cendrowski (Director of Big-Bang Theory), George Takei, Elia Lyssy, and more.

I will be graduating from the University of Michigan in the Summer Semester of 2024 as a Film, Television and Media Major, and will be ready to relocate anywhere in the world to start my film career. Currently looking for internships, but am also ready to be a production assistant on any industry set with proper guidance!
